Never Surrender To Objections

You must realize that it doesn't matter what you are selling, the truth of the matter is that you will face rejections and refusals. Instead of looking at a "No" in a negative way, look at it as feedback that you are receiving to help you master your skills. However, know that it doesn't matter how often you hear the word "no" it's a tough thing to take.

It's only their opinion - When someone gives you negative feedback, remember that it is only that person's opinion and that everyone has one. You can analyze it and use it to make your next move smarter. What you have received is feedback that can help you to find a different approach. Or you can look at it as you are that much closer to a "yes". I personally, enjoy knowing that any moment, I will receive a "yes." Some will, some won't, so what, next.

Keep your confidence level high, don't let a "no" wear you down, or make you lose sight of your belief in the value of your product, idea, book, or your ability. Go out and try again! Don't give up, this is only the beginning.

Don't get defensive - It's only natural to get at least a little angry when rejected, what's not natural is to make excuses or try to persuade the other person they're wrong. Use your anger to get yourself back in the game. Let that "no" create a sense of urgency to find a better way.

Use reverse psychology, by edifying the prospect and celebrating their opinion. It subconsciously relaxes your prospect that was challenging you with their objection to begin with. Never get defensive and never be confrontational.

Let history be your guide - If people are making fun of your ideas, ask yourself why? Are you just ahead of time? Or should you express your concept differently, better, or did you not demonstrate to your prospects how they're going to benefit in the long term? Remember and understand that it takes time for you to work out the kinks and for every new idea, or product to gain acceptance. Those who overcome the negativity from others, have managed not only to achieve their goals, but also to surpass them.

Embrace rejection, and take the information that you gain from rejection and see what you can learn from them. By doing this, you will become stronger.

5 Proven Blog Marketing Techniques You Can Use Today

Marketing your blog is not all that hard to do. You have to be persistent and want your blog to do really well. You cannot just make a post and forget about it. You must continue updating your blog and marketing it so that it will become popular to keep it interesting and something everyone wants to read.

While there are many promotional strategies, here are 5 methods you can use for marketing your blog starting today.

1 - Interviews:

Interviewing people and posting it on your blog is an excellent way to market it, not to mention the interest interviews can generate. Just be sure that the people that you interview pertain to the market of your blog. You want all of your posts to be relevant, including any interviews that you might do. For example, if your blog market was vacuum cleaners, and you did an interview with the owner of Hoover vacuum cleaner; that would definitely pertain to your market.

2 - Hot New Topics:

If you hear any news on the market of your blog, be sure that you post it. Everyone loves news, and event he readers of your blog will appreciate you blogging about the current events in the market that you are blogging about. Something to keep in mind when blogging about the news is the more current the news, the better. No one wants to reread old news, so it is a great idea to try and stay as current as possible when you are blogging about the news.

3 - Have Contests:

Contests are another way that you effectively market your blog. Having contests on various things would be a lot of fun, and something that will keep your readers coming back. Everyone loves to win things, and you can also make the prize that you are giving away relevant to the market you are promoting on your blog.

Press Releases:

Press releases are also an excellent way to market your blog. Sending out a press release or having one made for you is a great idea. You will find that they are even affordable for most budgets, and some companies offer a package deal for example, if you let us write your press release we will submit it for half price. Who could resist a deal such as that? Especially when you are budgeting and trying to get the most from your funds.

Commenting on Blogs:

Comments on a blog are also a very important aspect of blog marketing. You will want to be sure that you always answer and acknowledge the comments that are made to your blog as well as others. When you show that you are an actual person that can hold a conversation, you are showing others that you are real and that you really and truly have the best intentions for your blog. Make sure that no comment goes unanswered.

Article Marketing:

Do not under estimate the power of writing articles on your blog and submitting them to directories such as the one you're reading now. You can and will receive a great deal of new visitors to your blog, providing it is something of interest and well written. People starve for good content, especailly how to do something.

While good content is something that you will need for your blog, you also want to ensure that it is original content as well. You can market a blog with something that is copied and that you do not own the rights. Plagiarism will get you in trouble with Google as well as the person that originally wrote the content. Be sure that all of your posts are ones that only you own the rights too. This is a great thing to know and do when you are marketing your blog.

Blogging Comes Natural ...

Marketing a blog comes naturally for some and can be a little harder to focus on for others. Another important thing that you will want to do for your blog is to be sure that you find links. Exchange links, get one way links, and ask for more and more links. You will never have enough links to your blog. The more links the better in this case.

Blog marketing is not hard to do. Just be sure that you follow all of the proven and tried techniques that others are talking about and you wont go wrong. Just don't give up and keep on marketing because it will pay off sooner or later.

A Step By Step Guide To Selling Your Product Online

Before we set to unravel the guide to selling your product online, it is imperative to find out what the term 'selling' means.

Selling is the last step in the business chain where a seller offers his good or service to a buyer in exchange for cash. In business lingo "nothing happens until someone sells something." Selling is a persuasive art employed by sellers with the intent of convincing buyers to choose their good or service over those of their competitors in the market.

The internet has emerged as one of the most fertile environment for modern day smart sellers and buyers. The first step in your guide to selling your product online is to have a personal PC or laptop which is internet enabled. Failure to have the two components will make online selling near impossible unless one is prepared to browse in cyber cafes, which is not only inconveniencing but also expensive in the long-run.

An online seller will also need to have a credit or debit card to buy or pay for any products and services traded online. Similarly, one has to open an e-mail account, which is something easier and cheaper to do. There are free e-mail accounts provided by service providers like Yahoo, Google and Hotmail.

The second step in your guide to selling your product online is to register your own domain name. This is a virtual name for the specific internet website address or sales page. You can pick an unregistered domain name or buy an existing one.

The third step in your guide to selling your product online is to take the assistance of a web developer to develop a personal website or go for various website building and hosting tools such as Microsoft's Office Live Small Business. One can get a cheap web hosting service provider that can ensure that your website is operating 24 hours a day and seven days a week. This service can be paid for monthly or yearly.

A web site is the door that will open your business to the world. And this will only be possible if it is properly made and easier to access for your potential clients when they type in your website's URL or domain name. Offer colorful and seductive product descriptions that are easier to read, quality pictures and clear directions on how to get information in the website. A poorly presented website with indiscernible product content is a sure way to invite potential customers to go elsewhere seconds after opening your website.

The fourth step in your guide to selling your product online is to buy an autoresponder which automatically sends e-mails to anyone who requests more information about the products which is posted in the web site. Any autoresponder chosen should contain ordering information manual or your products information along with complete ordering instructions.

Once this has been done, the last step in your guide to selling your product online is to register with credit card processors who shall provide you with the link on your website. This will allow you to conduct business by allowing you to be paid for your products online or to make payments for products delivered for services offered.

You are almost there by now but once you plunge into the deeper sea of online selling, remember to always attend your shop 24/7 if possible, update the content of your website and add new technology as it hits the market. Don't forget your customers, they are the reason you are there; remember them with gifts, premiums or discounts, and most importantly, don't rest on your laurels.

Why Quality Content Means More Sales

One of the factors that provides more traffic generation is the ease of being found by the suitable audience. The nodal point isn’t to appear in SERPs top ten -though it will obviously be a good thing for any site-, but to be listed with suitable keywords. This will immediately reduce bounce rates -the number of users who abort navigation in less than 30 seconds-, and will significantly increase conversion rates.

The best way to ensure our findability by a suitable audience is to provide relevant content for our keywords. Because of new semantic features present in search engines architecture, text relevance becomes crucial. For this reason, techniques such as stuffing, that is cluttering the text with keywords, and other black hat techniques like hidden text, and duplicate content have become pointless, apart from exposing the site to severe penalties by Google, including lowering to zero the Pagerank.

The main issue here is why do things wrong when they can be done right. Providing quality contents is the ideal technique to achieve best web positioning, the genuine, lasting one, which will lead to better traffic figures. One way to, somehow, “inflate” positioning in SERPs is participating in social networks. This doesn’t mean that entries in SERPs from social media are less valid, it means that they are more ephemeral. As hot trends passes, entries start being displaced, pushed to less prominent positions, and this is particularly noticeable when you and your competitors use the same keywords. So the question is how can we achieve durable search engine result entries? The answer is with quality content.

Quality content adds value to the site as it offers visitors a reason to return. It provides added value to your products, educating consumers on how to take full advantage of them, make the most of them, give them proper care and provide information about its features and functionalities. Content helps create an online reputation, and turns site into an obligied source of bibliography on the topic in question. Think about your personal experience. Surely each one of you has a series of blogs, which you have probably subscribed their RSS, and those who get there frequently believe that what is published there is valuable. That’s what we mean by quality content. It is the ideal tool for better web positioning, while offering added value to visitors.

Relevant texts are the ideal answer for the semantic web. New architecture of search engines is increasingly paying more attention to semantic relevance, and Google, for example, has developed a growing ability to recognize synonyms. Thus, if a user searches for “luxury cars” probably also he’ll see on the resulting SERPs, some sites about “luxury vehicles”. If search engines increasingly “humanize” indexing sites, design your site for humans, and this will be the greatest guarantee of success in all positioning efforts.

This article will give you tips on how to expose internet business scams.

Before we get into the heart of the tips there are some basic things that you need to know. First, never give your credit card number to prove that you are 18 because you will most likely be charged without your knowledge.

Also, never buy "bargain" packages as these will usually contain hidden fees and make you pay continuity payments for the programs.

Tip 1- How to identify scams

There are many ways to identify a scam and you need to be aware of them so the home business opportunity you invest in will make you money instead of stealing your money. When you are looking into joining a "Get Rick Quick" opportunity it is crucial that you investigate the business thoroughly.

Do not allow yourself to become a victim to get rich quick scams when a little research will save you from it.

Internet business scams are the hottest scam around as millions of unsuspecting people flood the internet, so just be smart when looking for an opportunity.

Tip 3- Hard work, hard work, and hard work Creating your own online business is a hard and difficult process. There are legitimate offers available that can make running your business easier, but any legitimate business offer will take work. The easier things are the better right?

How To Make Money Blogging

There's no doubt that the topic about making money with a blog is very extensive, all of which is made more complex by the huge number of people expressing their own opinions.

I will give my own opinion but I will do it in such a way that it is concise and easy to understand. Of course, there will be sections which I will not cover in depth but rest assured because I will cover them in the future on this very blog.

The one thing I want to make very clear before I start to talk about the topic of blogging is the following:

Blogging is just a vehicle to making money online.

The reason why I say this is that 99% of people do not make a full time living directly from their blogs. Of course, there is that small 1% which end up doing so but that’s the tiny minority. Most people online use blogs as a tool to make money online. I’m not stopping you from trying to be that 1% which makes a full time income solely from a blog, however, it is far easier and more lucrative (financially) to use blogging as just a vehicle to making money online. And it’s a very powerful vehicle if used correctly.

Why Blog?

The number one reason why you should blog is because the search engines (especially Google) love them!

And the reason why they love them is because blogs tend to have the freshest and most up to date content on the Web. Search engines thrive on relevancy and indexing new and fresh content is up there.

As a consequence, blogging has the power to help you get high rankings for target keywords as long as you've done your on page SEO correctly.

Content Is King

Because the search engines love indexing new and fresh content on blogs, it is suffice to say that content is king!

You have to continuously add new content to your blog, whether it be daily, weekly or fortnightly. The more often the better, however, keep it to a maximum of 1 new post per day.

If you want to see the benefits of posting new content frequently, take a look at Problogger. It was started by Australian Darren Rowse back in 2002 and he has posted something new everyday since. In the process, he makes a full time living from his blog as well as being the biggest blogger in Australia and one of the biggest in the world.

This should be enough to show you the power of blogging.

You Pitch, You Lose

I have to point out that posting new content does NOT refer to finding a new product to promote and blatantly pitching it on a blog post.

That’s not what blogging is about.

Blogging is all about giving visitors useful and interesting content about a certain topic so that they return to your blog for more in the future.

Blatantly pitching a product is just going to turn visitors (and potential future customers) away. And given that they barely know you, what chances are there that they will buy from you right away? Ask yourself: would you buy something from a person you've only just met?

The best way to make money with a blog is by using your blog as a medium through which online visitors can get to know you and what you are about. Use a blog to build rapport and trust with them.

Build A List

In the previous section, I did not say that you shouldn’t promote your products or services on a blog. In fact, you should and I encourage it. However, it has to be dome in an intelligent.

This is where you need to use list building.

You should use your blog to build a list of subscribers or, in other words, a list of people interested in what you are all about. This involves grabbing people’s first names and email addresses using what is commonly called an opt in form. However, you have to give them something enticing in return for their details.

Here are a couple of ideas:
- access to a weekly newsletter
- a free video
- a free report
- a free ebook
- a free audio recording

Once people enter your list, then you can start sending them information about your products and services and potentially make sales and get customers.

The Key To Making Money With A Blog

At the end of the day, the key to a powerful money making blog is great regular content. Think about it this way.

The better and more regular your content is, the higher your blog will rank in the search engines. And the higher your rankings, the more traffic your blog will get. And the more traffic it gets, the more people opt into your list. And the more people that join your list, the more sales and customers you can make.

It couldn’t get any simpler!

To conclude, I would like to say that if you could not understand some of the terminology used and topics covered in this post, don’t worry. As I said at the beginning, I will covering them in greater detail in the future. The most important thing is you understand the general concept around how to make money with a blog.

The Secrets Of Internet And Online Marketing

You probably already use the Online World for many things. Whether you use it for entertainment, research, sending E-mail to friends and family, or just discussing numerous subject topics with others. Hey, if you're like me, you even use it to order pizza. :)

Of all the things you can do online, there is one that you should definitely know how to do. MARKET A BUSINESS ONLINE! I can't stress how important marketing your business is. This will determine how much money you make online. The better you market, the more money you make.

With the power of the Online World to reach millions of people, Online Marketing is definitely an awesome tool that no business should be without. The simple fact that advertising is practically FREE. The ability to get the results of thousands of dollars in free publicity is practically unheard of in business today. Only recently have more and more people figured out how to utilize the ever exploding Online World to market their business efforts.

Think about it, there is probably no business in existence that could not benefit from free publicity! And the fact that properly utilizing free advertising raises net profits to unbelievable levels! Using any or all of the major online services, or the INTERNET, can help you market your business efforts. Regardless if you have an offline business or online business, online marketing can make a huge difference!

Let's start with plain-old advertising. On America Online, for example, they will let you place classified advertisements for FREE! They have a variety of classifications to choose from. By placing these small free ads you can generate some very quality leads that can turn into sales. Or if you are a really good marketer you could sell something straight from your free ad. Wouldn't that be something, using the actual free ad to do all of the selling.

The other services offer free advertising from time to time. When they do charge for classified ads it is usually very inexpensive, and still a great deal considering how many people those ads can reach. When you place any advertisements you should always "code" your ads. This means put something in each individual ad that will tell you, if you get any business from it, which ad it came from. This way, you will probably find that some sections are better producers than others, and you will want to concentrate on these sections and not the ones that weren't making any money.

To code an ad you could make them request a certain "report" for more information. You should give each report a different code for each ad. Such as: "ask for report #1tv" , this way you would know that this request came from the ad on television, for sale category, and so forth. If they send you an order straight from the ad, make them give you an order #, which would be different for each ad. THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WHO ARE ADVERTISING ONLINE ARE NOT USING THESE AD CODES!!! THIS IS A MAJOR MARKETING MISTAKE!!!

By not tracking exactly which ads are making money, they are wasting their time by continually placing ads in "loser" categories. The actual code can be anything you want to assign to it. ALWAYS keep track of every ad you place. Make a note of what it said, where and when it was placed. You will be pleasantly surprised when you analyze your "ad data" and see some positive trends developing. Just repeat these trends and it will help you to make more money!

How would you like to find a name list of several hundred (or even thousand) people who might be interested in the particular product or service you are selling based on their jobs or interests? Wouldn't that be great!? Well, you can! And the Online Services supply this service as a part of your regular membership.

This little unknown tool is called the "Member Directory!" You can do searches in the directory for other users with certain characteristics. For example, if you were selling fishing equipment, you could do a search by "fishing." All of the people that were registered in the directory and had listed fishing as one of their hobbies would show up on that search list. You could now send each one of those people an e-mail message telling them about your product or service, it's just like using a mailing list, but you have no postage! (*Make sure you check with your Online service to see if they allow unsolicited E-mail.)

You can also get the names of several prospects by doing some "browsing" in the different topic forums. Using the earlier example of looking for people who fish, you could look under sports until you found a discussion on fishing. You could then take note of the users' names that were participating in the discussions. You could do the same thing on the INTERNET with one of the many newsgroup topics that they have.

The bottom line is that you "test" and record the results of your Online Marketing efforts. Then just repeat the steps that are making you money and expand on them to reach more people.

Doing simple research on the Internet. The Internet has several mailing lists that are dedicated to marketing on the Internet. You will also find hundreds of articles on the World Wide Web. By searching one of the WWW search engines like Web-crawler you can find all the information you can read. Use search strings such as: "online marketing", "internet advertising", "selling online", and so on.

You can also find many books on the subject at your local bookstore or being advertised online. But my best information source is Google. Simply key in what you want to know, spend some times searching and you will find the help or answers you seek.

Surefire Internet Marketing Trends In Earning Affiliate Income

If you want to start earning affiliate income, pay close attention to the latest internet marketing trends in affiliate marketing. This article will show you how affiliate marketers go by earning commissions without having to create a single product in their life.

One of the first internet marketing trends used to earn affiliate income is through blogs. Blogs readily attract thousands and thousands of prospects who will be exposed to affiliate links in blog posts, banner ads, text ads and videos.

The most lucrative to make affiliate income is through email marketing. This is the most effective way to generate sales because you have the ability to email your subscribers anytime you like and establish a good relationship with them before you promote your affiliate products. URL cloakers are often used to cloak affiliate links to make the promoted product seem more sincere.

Another way internet marketers make money is through backlinks in their products. Backlinks which are actually affiliate links (cloaked or uncloaked) can be included in free e-books, viral reports, main products or newsletters. Free products often have the tendency to get shared virally and thus this proves to be a good way to promote affiliate links.

An interesting internet marketing trend used is by including affiliate products as backends to their sales funnel. An example is that after a customer buys their main product they will be sent to the next step of their sales funnel, whether if its an one time offer page, an upsell or a downsell. This truly helps them to maximize their profits as a buying customer is already in a "buying mode".

Finally, the most effective affiliate marketing trend is by making review sites of a certain product. The review site is often more credible than the product site itself because you are seen as a user of the product who wants to share the pros and cons of the product rather than a person trying to hard sell. Thus, people will be more likely to believe you and click on the affiliate link if they are interested. This internet marketing trend is often used in conjunction with PPC or Pay Per Click to draw large amounts of traffic to their site.

Increasing the Marketing Effectiveness of Your Website

If the marketing effectiveness of your website is lacking you will know it by the weak sales conversions you no doubt will experience. Now there are a number of factors that can contribute to a lackluster performance in website sales and some are more subtle than others. A very good start towards improving the performance of your site is to look at it through the eyes of the website visitor. What is it people see or perhaps do not want to see when they land on your page?

Here are 3 suggested adjustments you can make on your site to improve both the experience of the website visitor and as a result your sales conversions.

Fresh Content/Perspective

The content you place on your site represents both you and your business so make it something original. When navigating the internet people have way too many choices and are not interested in viewing the same old rehashed information they have seen elsewhere. Give visitors something new and fresh in terms of information or perspective to view once they land on your site.

Forget You

Unless you are some sort of 'rock star' it is unlikely that any visitor will be interested in reading about you or your accomplishments. The focus of your site should always be on the visitor in regards to what it is you can do for them. Proving you have something of interest or worth to others is the only way to increase your sales conversions.

Identify Your Target Audience

You can not be all things to all people and that is just a fact of life therefore focus ONLY on your target audience. Be familiar with who they are and what they want so that you can better 'connect' with them. Learn to talk the language of your audience and by doing so you will likely see a sales increase.

The marketing effectiveness of your website has a direct impact on your sales conversions. If the website visitor is not interested or intrigued with what they see they most likely will not make any purchases. There are certain adjustments you can make however to more fully engage any visitors to your site leading to an increase in website sales. The 3 suggestions reviewed above focus on targeting visitors more directly with your content while also making it more intriguing for them to view. Maintaining the perspective that your website is more about the people who visit it and not you will make it more appealing to visitors. This should result in helping you increase your sales conversions.

3 Tips for Increasing Website Sales

The key to making money online can be found in your website sales conversions. In order to get website traffic a lot of effort goes into generating it but you do not make money unless you can increase the sales conversions. Website visitors will not spend a lot of time on any page if they are not stimulated or interested by what they are presented. In order to persuade visitors to make a purchase therefore your site must convey your message quickly and convincingly.

Here are 3 simple adjustments you can make on your page to increase the sales conversions of website visitors.

Work above the Fold

Place your intended message as close to the top of your sales page as possible so website visitors are able to view it immediately upon landing on your page. Do not expect people or make people scroll to the bottom of your page to view your message. The typical visitor will leave the page within seconds unless their interest or curiosity is sparked by something they have read. Put your 'best' stuff at the top in order to captivate people so that they will continue reading further.

Call to Action

It is important to clearly tell any website traffic that lands on your page what it is you want them to do. Do not ever expect or assume that people will figure it out themselves. Leave nothing to chance but instead after you have clearly presented your marketing message tell people what it is you want them to do next. Whether it is to continue on to the next page, make a purchase or leave their contact information always tell people what to do next.

Keep Distractions to a Minimum

Do not cheat yourself out of any sales by unknowingly distracting any visitors to your site away from your intended message. By minimizing the use of needless graphics or advertising you are better able to help visitors maintain their focus thereby giving your message a chance to be more effective.

Remember that when viewing any websites online most people will only spend a few seconds before deciding to leave the page. Maximize the chance that they are able to receive the message you are sending by minimizing distractions.

You can generate all the online traffic in the world but if you are not getting any website sales you are wasting your time! Anybody who works on the internet knows how much effort goes into generating website traffic. The key to making money however is what this traffic does when it lands on your site. Since most people will spend only seconds on any site if they are not interested it is important to convey your message both quickly and convincingly. The 3 simple adjustments we suggested above will help you position your message so that website visitors will see it immediately and without distractions. In getting your message seen by more people before they leave your page you therefore stand to experience an increase in sales.

How to Develop a Strategy of Article Writing and Forum Posting for Your Online Home Business

The majority on internet marketers who have their own online home based businesses have heard how they can benefit from having high quality unique and relevant content on their websites. This is the key to being well ranked by the search engines for your particular keywords.

At the same time it is important to keep in mind that you should also be involved in writing and publishing articles on various article directories as this is a great way to become known on the internet as an expert in your chosen niche. At the same time an excellent method to employ for getting back links to your website is by participating in forums where you can not only learn from others but also pass on your knowledge which will help you to become known as a leader in your field.

After reading all of this you are probably beginning to feel overwhelmed and are wondering where to begin.....

Article writing and forum strategies are both important aspects in marketing your online based business and the problem here is that they can be very time consuming if you are not sufficiently organized.

No need to panic though as there are ways to overcome this problem and in this article we will look at ways to bring these activities together in a smooth content producing strategy that should make the whole process easier and will help you to make the best possible use of your time.

Firstly stop thinking of article writing and publishing via various article directories and forum posting as individual and unrelated tasks!

There is a connection between what you write on forum posts and what you write in your articles and if you cannot see the connection you will be wasting one heck of a lot of time. Not only that but you will be making things more difficult for yourself as you will find it impossible to keep refocusing on the various tasks that you need to undertake.

As an article marketer how often have you found yourself starting at a blank screen on your computer with no idea of what you should be writing about? This is the point that you usually become distracted and you will then go on to one of the forums you frequent and before you know it two hours have flown by and all your good intentions of writing an article and publishing it have been put on the back-burner for another day.

Instead of staring mindlessly at that blank screen and then spending hours on a forum with not too much to show for it, here is a plan that you can follow which will not only make your life easier but will help you to continue building content for your website with articles and also give you more articles that you can write and publish regularly.

Instead of keeping your article writing and forum posting as two completely separate tasks, why not bring them together. You can do this by using the subjects discussed in the forums to write about and likewise when you find an interesting subject to write an article on, it can be a subject of discussion in a forum.

By doing this you will find it much easier not only to add content to your online home based business website but you will also be freeing up time that you can then utilize for other business building tasks.

Which Blog Provider Should Your Choose?

Creating a blog is one of the easiest ways to make money online. But if you are just starting out then you might be confused by the number of blogging platforms available to you. In this article we'll look at the pros and cons of two of the most popular blogging platforms to help get you started.

1. Blogger

Blogger is owned by Google and has several advantages:

* It is easy to use and setting up your site is simply a matter of filling out a form and following a few prompts. There is nothing to install so you don't need your own hosting account.

* It's free for you to use and you don't even need to spend money on a domain name as you will be provided with one which is based on the name of your blog.

* Posting is really easy and you can also change the look and feel of your blog by selecting a different theme and colour scheme.

* If you have more than one blog you can access them all through the one blogger dashboard.

If you are wanting to blog to make money then there are some disadvantages to using Blogger:

* Compare to other options there is a lack of flexibility. There are a number of themes available but they all look very similar so it is hard to make your blog look truly unique.

* You get a free domain name when you sign up but it's yourname.blogspot.com rather than yourname.com which doesn't look quite as professional.

* You might own the content but you never own your blog since it is hosted on Blogger's service. This means that if the Terms of Service ever change and you blog no longer fits the rules it could be shut down without giving you any notice.

2. Wordpress

Wordpress is the other popular platform for blogging. There are two options available, the hosted version at wordpress.com which is actually very similar to the Blogger option. Alternatively, if you are serious about wanting to make money blogging you should consider the free open source version of Wordpress which you host with your own hosting account provider.

Here are the advantages of a self-hosted Wordpress blog:

* You can customise your blog as much or as little as you like. There are countless free themes available which will allow you to make your blog look like a blog, or a magazine or even a website. There are some great paid options too that don't cost too much money.

* You can increase the functionality by installing any number of free or paid for plugins that will help you make the most of your website. From SEO support, to stats counters and Twitter integration; whatever functionality you need you will almost certainly find a plugin that can make it happen.

Of course it does have its disadvantages too:

* You will need to purchase a domain name, but these generally cost less than $10 a year.

* You will need a host, though once again these are reasonably priced if you only wish to host one site.

* It's not quite as user friendly as Blogger but there are plenty of tutorials available online and if you are willing to invest some time learning how to use the system then it will definitely pay off over time.

Crucial Factors In Email Marketing

In order to create a strong email marketing campaign and begin to make money online, you need to start by having a strong, proper strategy that contains some particular factors.

One aspect that people with network marketing businesses need to comprehend is that you are not spamming people if you are email marketing and it can produce excellent, positive results if used properly when you have MLM leads and want to build your downline.

If your email marketing works well enough, then you can use it effectively to build your client base and promote your business to the maximum number of people, preferably those who came to you as free leads.

Now this is important, to gain the best results from free network marketing leads, you need to have a email marketing campaign that is effective. There are a number of different factors to understand when creating the strategy to take advantage of the best free leads.

The first important factor to know about is the principle of valuable content. This is on top of the list for marketing properly to new clients.

In email marketing, content is king and you need to be able to offer your list information that is that is valuable to them and relevant to your business. There are various kinds of information to put in an email, such as special discounts, weekly sales and certain tips and tricks.

The more valuable and informative your information is, the more your prospects can gain through your email marketing efforts.

Another factor that many network marketers need to pay attention to in their email marketing is the call-to-action. A call-to-action is important because it is a way to gently push a prospect to click on a link and move on to the next step, whatever that is.

Remember this should be contained within valuable and interesting content to keep people’s interest high in the email, in order for the message to work.

A crucial thing to understand when putting together a call-to-action is making sure to identify the action you want the prospect to take. The subscriber to your email should know exactly which benefit they will gain by clicking on your call-to-action link.

Now, as an example, a call-to-action could be, “Click here now to get a free e-book download and a discount on an upcoming purchase.

A third important factor that comes into play is the email schedule used to market to your prospects.

It has been seen before that many businesses fail to gain new clients because the frequency of emails in their email marketing is either too high or too low. Sending out ten marketing emails per month is too much and one email per month is too low. Use trackable results of your conversions to test which frequency is best.

Remember, one of the best ways to learn how correctly market to your potential clients is to try and think like them and make sure to offer valuable content.

7 Simple Ways To Bring Back Non Buying Customers To Buy From You Again And Again

The worst thing you can do in business is sell a one-off product. Why? Because there is no reason for the customer after that. That whole scenario is deadly. Especially if a marketer has thrown everything to generate the lead or prospect. What type of companies or business owners have lucrative, attractive, fun businesses and... the lifestyle to match? Yes, those businesses who deal way beyond a simple one-off transaction. These business owners deliberately and strategically, create their enterprise to have an ongoing continuity or membership to it.

However, monthly memberships is not the only vehicle that will keep a customer coming back for more. If products are created on a monthly basis and rolled off the shelves, that would be reason enough for prospects and customers to stick around and hear what you have to offer. And when that happens, there's a business being built. There's equity. There's value created in the most important aspect of a business - the customers.

However, what if you have a business where you have no real accurate records of your customer transactions, their purchases, what date they spent their money with you... and... you know that a number of previous customers are no longer contacting you... what then? How would you boost the value of your business? How would you create momentum and do it without breaking the bank?

Well, what seems to be the obvious, economically sound choice is to contact the previous non active customers who have previously bought. Yes, it's that simple. But how would you approach them... what would be a non threatening way of getting back in touch with them? Well, as it's 5-7 times more costly to get a new customer than it is to sell an existing past customer, we need to develop a programme of getting in touch with these past customers.

Here are 7 ways to get back in touch with previous customers who have purchased, but have not recently invested in any products or services.

1. WE MISS YOU - a simple straight forward communication along the lines of the following, "Dear Jack, we haven't seen or heard from you for a while now and wondered if everything was alright".

2. FREE GIFT - BUT THEY NEED TO CALL IN - A simple, harmless warm letter asking the customer something like "Joe, as we haven't heard from you we thought of sending you this gift we have right here on our table, and... it's got your name on it. All you have to do to claim it is to bring this letter in to the store, or enter the code on the website and we'll rush your gift to you..."

3. A COMPETITION - Competitions do crazy things to people. They just want to win the damn thing! How about something like - "John, though you're a customer of ours we haven't heard from you or 37 other customers, for several months now. We hope that's about to change. You see, we're giving away a super prize just to see which one of you will respond the quickest to this letter... "

4. WRONG LETTER TECHNIQUE - This is a little sneaky. Though, if you've the courage to pull it off, simply plead insanity if you get called up on it, okay! The wrong letter technique is where you send a letter knowingly to the intended person, though with someone else's details on it! Here's how I will explain it.

A letter addressed to say, Gary Smalley but with someone else's information on it', can be used in the following way. "Dear John, thanks for visiting our webstore last week. We were a little concerned that we hadn't heard from you for a few months now but were overjoyed you responded to our 'free gift letter'. And, that letter was sent to you because we hadn't seen your name come up on our special purchasers list for a while now..."

I think you may get a call from Gary Smalley to be added to your now 'current spending' customers file.

5. OUTRIGHT BRIBE - Like the word or not, it works pretty well in promotions. It's amazing what people will do when you give them something for free. How about, "Jake, we're hope you're well because we haven't heard from you or seen you in a while. So, just so that we can see you again, we're going to ask you to accept two wonderful free gifts, are you okay with that?.

6. LAST PURCHASE LETTER - This approach simply acknowledges that he customer hasn't been buying for a while and that she should doing so again. Something along the lines of "Jennie, we've noticed that you've not made a purchase during the last few months. So, in order to win you back and get you back on the website again, I want to gift you something that will pretty much astound you!"

7. ASK FOR A TESTIMONIAL - Even though we've not heard form a certain bunch of our customers, there's nothing stopping us from writing to them about their past purchases! Something along the lines of "Hi Trevor, we haven't heard from you or seen you in our webstore for a while now. And, looking at our records Trevor, you bought something from us nearly 8 months ago. We'd like to ask if you have used the product and would like you to tell us your thoughts..."

As you can probably imagine, there are numerous ways to get back in touch with previous paying customers. All it takes is an appreciation for the residual value of a client, and, the sending out of one of the above letters.

Nothing could be simpler. And that's where most non savvy marketers and business owners fall down, purely because of the sheer simplicity of it all and because of the inherent value of a past customer, it just makes good economic sense to get back in touch!

3 Money Making Website Ideas To Earn Money Selling On

The majority of all products sold on the Internet today are done so on a money making website. The owner of the website is selling products and earning money from people who buy from them.

There are several ways you can do this, but in this article we will look at three primary money making website ideas.

1. Use an affiliate website. Many people start making money on the Internet by becoming an affiliate marketer.

When you do this the affiliate merchant gives you a website to promote. Your affiliate website is coded with your ID number so you are given credit for all sales made.

The nice thing about this is you can start right away without worrying about building a website. The downside to it is all the affiliates promote the exact same website.

2. Start a blog. You are starting to see more people use a blog as their primary website.

In the past it wasn't unusual for people to have websites and then link blogs to them. They would use the blog for fresh content ideas and search engine bait.

However, today there are so many nice Word Press themes, and even Blogspot themes, that they are replacing websites. People who use Word Press will set it up on their own hosting.

People who join Blogspot, which is owned by Google, will let Google host their blog for them. However you choose to host it income is often generated by adding Google Adsense ads to the blog.

You can also sell products as an affiliate or products of your own on your blog through banners and text link ads.

3. Have your own website built for you. This is a pretty common way for people to get started.

There are plenty of freelance blog builder and website developers working on line. This makes it possible for you to have your own website or blog built for a fairly low price.

The good thing is you can start right away because you do not have to learn HTML coding. The downside is whenever you want to make changes to your blog or website you have to pay somebody to do it.

The exception would be on blogging where you can add content just by pasting in articles and clicking a publish button. This is another reason why Internet marketers use blogs as their primary website.

These are three money making website ideas. As you can see you do have choices on how you can go about getting a money making website online today.

A Few Blogging Tips Concerning Traffic

There are certain blogging tips that every site owner should subscribe to no matter what stage they are at in the blog building process. The strength and popularity of most blogging sites are reflected in the amount of traffic they attract. It is how this blog traffic is nurtured and developed that will make the biggest difference in the degree of success the site experiences.

Here are 3 'truths' that need to be recognized and/or addressed in order to build or sustain the type of blog traffic you need to make your site a success.

Traffic Quality Varies

The blog building process involves developing a flow of traffic from an assortment of sources online. It is important to understand that each source will contribute a different level of quality and volume of traffic to your site. Knowing this will help you better use your own time insofar as how you prioritize it for generating blog traffic at these various sources.

Some sources such as social networks may bring in a high volume of visitors but these people are generally not as focused and therefore will not return. Forums may produce a much lower volume of visitors but then these people are a higher focus group and their return is more likely.

Inbound Links

Inbound links have a great influence over the growth and sustainability of traffic to your site. There are many reasons links like these help to positively impact the blog building process.

Search engines view inbound links to a site as a sort of validation for the importance of that site within the niche. This normally will help increase the ranking of the site resulting in more traffic that is both free and targeted.

Incoming links also open up additional 'streams' of visitors that come from the linking sites themselves.

Network

Connecting with other sites that share a similar interest to yours is another way of building a solid foundation. The 'connections' you develop can lead to joint venture opportunities, a sharing of new ideas, guest blogging opportunities and more inbound links.

The importance of these type connections is that they are established directly with other people. Connections like these are more meaningful and permanent because of the interests you share and the support potential available. Relationships built merely on algorithms (search engines) or business objectives are much more fleeting and temporary in nature.

There are certain fundamental blogging tips that go to the very core of the blog building process. These tips are something every site should pay attention to no matter what their stage of development or level of expertise. The strength and popularity of most blogging sites is normally reflected in the level of traffic they receive. It is how this blog traffic is nurtured and developed that dictates the long term success of the site. The 3 'truths' we spoke of here address critical areas that will affect the strength of your sites foundation or rate of growth. Proper adherence to these areas will greatly increase the effectiveness of your site and your chances of achieving long term success.

The Benefits of Creating Intrigue with Blog Entries

Intriguing blog entries will not only attract new traffic to the site but will also compel visitors to return. Blog posting which is the literal backbone to the success of the site should always strive to target the interest of readers. No matter what style of posting you have adopted your goal should be to get a reaction from the blog reader. When people post comments to your site it is then clear that you have engaged your readers. The more people interact the greater the 'buzz' your site generates and the more 'social proof' it demonstrates to new visitors.

Here are 5 reactions you can expect from visitors that will help build traffic and loyalty when your blog posting is intriguing enough to generate a response.

Reader Becomes Intrigued

The choice of topic and 'angle' you take when posting are the keys to gaining the readers attention. Your subject needs to something people are concerned about or of interest to them. Once interest has been established and the blog reader has become more intrigued magical things begin to happen.

Reader Contributes

People may agree or disagree with what you wrote and if their interest level is strong enough they will likely post comments in response. Obviously not everybody will share similar opinions or perspectives which is what helps to create an even bigger 'stir' to the mix.

Reader Gains Confidence

When people 'verbalize' their opinions in writing it helps to strengthen their own convictions. As others comment in support of your own views you than gain more confidence in yourself and your position within the group.

Reader Learns

As additional responses are posted more information is added or shared pertaining to the subject which thereby inevitable increases your own pool of knowledge. Since the subject is something of interest who does not want to learn more about it?

As previously mentioned not everybody will share the same opinions and the sharing of these different perspectives can be enlightening for everybody involved.

Reader Is Encouraged to Return

Becoming involved in a discussion on a blog creates a stronger sense of community and belonging for the participants. Gaining a little knowledge and confidence also adds tremendously to the positive experience. When you factor in that the topics discussed are things participants have an interest in it is understandable they would want to share the same experience again. Now the loyalty of the blog reader grows stronger and their return becomes more likely.

The objective of any blog entries is to engage your readers to participate in discussions or post comments. This interactivity helps to validate the site itself demonstrating a sort of 'social proof' to any new visitors. When a blog reader responds to anything posted on the site their response sets off a 'chain reaction' that often leads to additional traffic and greater loyalty. These 5 reactions as reviewed here today are normally stimulated by any blog posting that poses questions or takes a definitive stance on topics or issues. The goal of any post is to get visitors to post comments which can fuel the type reactions spoken of here. In the end if your site shows lots of activity it demonstrates the signs of life most visitors are seeking.

Don’t Make This Online Marketing Mistake

One of the biggest online marketing myths that I have ever heard of is that all you need is a website and people will come flocking in droves to give you their money. This could not be further from the truth, yet new people are falling for it everyday.

First of all, search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing are in it for the money. They don’t just exist for the fun of it. They make money by selling advertisement and they sell advertisement by providing quality content. If you have one of those company replicated websites, you have to remember that thousands of others have the same site with the same information on it. So then, other than the contact information, what makes yours any different from all of the others? Nothing! Absolutely nothing. As a matter of fact, most search engines will not even add those pages to their index, so you will never be found that way.

To have any hope of getting indexed and therefore getting some type of organic search engine traffic, your website needs to be unique and it needs to have information that will be of value to others. Even with that, let’s not think that the traffic will come immediately.

Search engine optimization or SEO for short, is a full time job in itself. The process is long and tedious and it takes constant effort and tweaking. With time and patience though you can receive results that way.
